Church News:
(1) This Sunday is Glen Arbor's traditional Christmas service. The service starts at the same time and will include Christmas Carols accompanied by the organ, and piano and violin. Mike Eichin will be giving the Christmas Message on "Jesus: The Light of the World." Come early to enjoy a brass trio play prelude music before the service.
(2) Don't forget to bring your dry and canned goods for Glen Arbor food drive. This is the last Sunday before the collection date, so don't forget to share the blessing of a decent meal with other families in DuPage county.
(3) The Church Office will be open next Tuesday, but then closed the rest of the week for Christmas.
(4) There will be no Awana for the next two weeks for Christmas and New Years. Awana will begin again on Jan. 7 with our 2009 kickoff party. Enjoy the Holidays!
(5) The West Chicago Park District has given the church the Park District Program Guide detailing their programs and activities for this winter and spring. Glen Arbor's vision for 2009 is to see more of its members involved in the community so that we can take advantage of each others labors in the gospel. Please take a look at the catalog and pray about getting your kids involved in West Chicago sports this year. The are located on the book table.
