College Ministry
Glen Arbor places a strong emphasis on the next generation. We believe God wants to use college students mightily to advance His Kingdom!
SALT (Spiritual And Life Training) Summer Conference
Spiritual and Life Training is a summer long conference hosted by Glen Arbor aimed at
equipping college-age people to walk the Christian faith daily and teach them to accurately handle the word of truth. The students live together, work local jobs during the day, meet nightly to share a meal, and participate in teachings, training seminars, service projects and evangelism. The 11 week program runs from mid-May through the end of July. In past summers, SALT has been hosted near UIC and DePaul universities in Chicago, but 2008 brought SALT into our own backyard, with students living and working in West Chicago.
The Rock @ COD
From 1996 through 2004, Glen Arbor had sponsored a student club outreach on the campus of the College of DuPage. Currently our COD students are not running Rock meetings on campus at this time. Instead, they are involved with other ministries. We encourage COD students to come on over and join in with Glen Arbor!
Glen Arbor's students are active in reaching out in the community and make an effort to share their faith. Various opportunities such as evangelism times and term break outreaches are
planned throughout the year, along the chance to attend with various conferences occurring throughout the region.
