Adult Ministries
Our Adult Ministries and Small Groups are plentiful. Our main small groups consist of small accountability groups and larger breaking of bread groups. Other small groups form around relationships and/or common interests. These groups vary in purpose as some are Bible Study oriented, others fellowship oriented, and still others service or outreach oriented.
Life Transformation Groups (LTGs) are Glen Arbor's accountability groups. They consist of 2-4 members of the same gender and meet weekly. LTGs consist primarily of accountability, reading of the word, and prayer. These groups are designed to foster trust and openness among the members of the group.
Breaking of Bread groups are medium-sized groups of 10-20 adults who meet at least every month to share a meal, break bread together (communion), and pray. They are designed to get everyone involved in their faith, and allow the children in the church to see their parents' faith in action. Each group meets at a different time of the month so that everyone who wants to be a part can make the time to join.
Besides small groups, we host and attend many conferences and retreats. These target various groups such as men, women, teens, college students, singles, and families.
Training abounds with Glen Arbor. We offer various adult sunday school opportunities, as well as formal training such as our Glen Arbor University Core Classes: Membership, Maturity, Ministry, and Missions.
We also offer training in specialized ministries such as our prayer ministry.
